KineticSystems Releases New CompactPCI/PXI Digital-to-Analog Converter
Lockport (Illinois), USA (July 12, 2005) - KineticSystems today announced its new digital-to-analog converter card, the CP266, a single-width, 6U, CompactPCI/PXI module with up to 64 analog output channels. This new device joins KineticSystems' growing family of data acquisition and automated test equipment (ATE) products for the CompactPCI/PXI, VXI, and stand-alone DAQ platforms.
With high 16-bit resolution and ±10 V full-scale output range, the CP266 is used by engineers and scientists to stimulate devices under test for the ATE market. In addition, the power-up state of the analog outputs can be set to independent user-defined values to provide non-zero voltage settings on application of power. The channel update rate is 2ms, and each output is accurate to ±1mV. Paired output signals are provided to eliminate ground offset effects.
Similar to its VXI counterpart, the V266 , the CP266 ships with plug and play drivers for configuring and using the device. Application examples, including source code, are also provided to illustrate basic functionality of the CP266.
Typical applications include automotive test cells, industrial control, and automated test equipment.
