Digital Display: Software Overview

Features

  • Multiple Realtime Numeric Display Windows
  • Each numeric display contains one channel
  • Display Mean,Min,Max values of each data segment
  • Display Volts or Counts Values
The Realtime Digital Display application is a realtime numeric display utility in which multiple channels can be shown. Each display window contains one data channel. Data is collected from the DAQ832 in segments. Digital display can show the average value, the smallest value, or the largest value of each segment. The A/D on the DAQ832 converts a voltage value to an unsigned two-byte counts value. Digital Display can display counts or can convert counts to a voltage value. As additional channel displays are added, the application window size increases and the channel display windows are tiled for easy viewing.

To start the application, press the DigDisplay button (circled left in red). DynaDAQ MUST be in RUNNING mode (circled left in blue) in order for DynaGraph to be started. When DynaDAQ is not running, the DigDisplay button is not functional.

The Realtime Digital Display Application

When DigDisplay is started, it automatically starts a Channel Display window with the first data channel displayed. Each time a new Display Window is opened, it will automatically display the next channel in the sequence. The user can change the channel(s) displayed in a Display Window.

The Display Window shown on the left is the rectangular region with the black border area it. As additional display windows are added, additional black-bordered rectangular regions will be added.
