Recording can be started in one of two ways:

When recording is started, the "StartRecord" button (circled above in red) will change to a "StopRecord" button (circled left in red). Also notice that "RUNNING-RECORDING" will be displayed in the message window (circled left in blue).
In the folder where DynaDAQ is installed, you will find a "Data" subfolder. All DynaDAQ data files are stored in this folder. The default data filename is called "dynadaq.bin". To change the default filename, refer to "Where is my data stored?". While recording, the "Record Time Remaining" window (circled above in blue) will display the amount of record time remaining on the disk. By pressing the "<-" button, the display will toggle to "Record Time Elapsed" and will display how long DynaDAQ has been recording. To STOP Recording, press the "StopRecord" button (circled left in red). DynaDAQ will stop recording but will continue collecting data. |
NOTE: If DynaDAQ is currently in EnhancedMode (6.4MB/s) and you change to RegularMode (3.2MB/s or less), the following message box will appear:

While in EnhancedMode, the Enhanced checkbox will appear (as shown below in red).
