MultiGraph: Software Overview

Features

  • All Data Channels are Graphed
  • One Current-Channel Display
  • Zoom Factors in X and Y Axis
  • No Units, No Time Axis, No Channel Names
  • Ability to Pause Data Display
The MultiGraph application is a realtime graphing utility in which all channels are viewed upon startup. Each graph window contains one data channel. There is one large graph window which contains the current channel. The user can change the current channel. For a closer look at the data, a XY zoom (scale) factor can be applied to the current channel.

No units are displayed in the MultiGraph. No time range is displayed. No channel names or numbers are displayed. Channels are displayed from top to bottom and then left to right (as shown below). This application is used to quickly verify that the user's signals are connected and producing data. To verify the accuracy of the data, the DynaGraph or DigDisplay applications should be used.

To start the MultiGraph application, press the MultiGraph button (circled left in red).

The MultiGraph Application

MultiGraph started when DynaDAQ is RUNNING

When MultiGraph is started, it automatically displays all the channels that the user set up in the DynaDAQ configuration interface. The first channel is the default "current" channel and is displayed in the large graph window. The user can change the current channel.

MultiGraph started while not running

MultiGraph started when DynaDAQ is not RUNNING

When MultiGraph is started, it shows no channel graph windows (as shown left). When DynaDAQ goes into run mode, the MultiGraph will create the graph windows and will start graphing data.

Multigraph when stopped running

MultiGraph when DynaDAQ stops RUNNING

When DynaDAQ stops running, all graphs will be cleared, but the graph windows will remain (as shown left).
